The church was «Venerable Symeon Stowpnyk» [1872] [still standing]

The wooden church replaced an older wooden church. Filial parish to CHERTEZH 3 km away it became an independent assistantship in 1926

In 1785 the village lands comprised 9.10 sq km. There were 385 Greek Catholics 85 Roman Catholics and 6 Jews
